[TuxOnIce-users] Problems hibernating/restoring since Linux 2.6.37

I have little information to give, since I don't know what information
would be helpful. Please respond, telling me what information would
be useful in resolving this issue.
Since Linux 2.6.37, I have been having major issues hibernating and/or
resuming from hibernate on my desktop. Both my desktop and laptop
have kernels built with the same patches (vanilla+gentoo+tuxonice) on
the same system (the desktop), with the same version of the various
tools. I copied the /etc/hibernate from my desktop to my laptop, and
didn't change any of the files inside. The permissions are the same.
However, my laptop doesn't have as many or as severe of problems. The
laptop's kernel config is, of course, different.
Referring to my desktop: with 2.6.38, the hibernation process would
often get stuck on "doing atomic copy/restore", requiring me to pull
the computer's plug to turn it off. The text ui would respond to the
"r" key, but nothing else (including sysreq commands) would get a
response. When it did hibernate, it would often freeze during the
same text at resume.
The version I'm concerned with now, Linux 3.0.3, has no problems
hibernating, but will not resume. As soon as I select the grub entry
to boot, one line is printed by tuxonice, then it stops. The computer
isn't frozen: ctrl+alt+del will reboot it. But I can't resume.

So, from the minimal information I've given, is there anything I can
check to try to resolve this? Or possibly better, what information
can I provide?
Thanks for your responses.
