[TuxOnIce-devel] Resuming from hibernation sometimes only works on retry

Hi,
I'm using tuxonice for linux-3.1-rc2, that is the latest available
before kernel.org breakdown, with the recent freezer patches from this
mailing list. Hibernation works great now, but on resume occassionally
the following happens:
The kernel is initialized (no initramfs), then the atomic copy is being
restored. After that, the monitor switches off, and nothing works.
However, I hit the reset button and resume starts a second time, albeit
with a warning. When I hit 'C' for continue resuming, everything works
correctly and the machine resumes as expected.
I don't know a reliable way to reproduce the problem. What could be
wrong here, why doesn't it work the first time? How can I find out
whether this is a driver problem or a bug in tuxonice?
Harald
