You were right. As far as I can tell, 2.6.26.2 has the patches and
the two patches necessary are
cd76374e9de4501acc74f833dc6cb5e7a5dca115
which can be cherry-picked and the one in
http://lkml.org/lkml/2008/6/8/181
(which has been included into mainline as commit
6703f6d10dcd3316e03641a5ecaa6c8a04374d98).
Right now I'm writing this message with full memory enabled and
resumed from hibernation (kernel 2.6.25.14 + TOI + patches).
