Hi Nigel, Hi everyone,
about half a year ago (I think when 2.6.24 came out), Nigel said
something about targeting 2.6.27 or 2.6.28 to try to get TOI integrated
into the mainline of the kernel. So, what I would like to know is:
- Is something like that still a target?
- Are there serious blockers? (besides the question if people do want it
there)
- Is it well enough tested? (I do think so)
I would love to see this in the mainline. It almost always worked for me
(there was a filewriter issue some time ago, but I just switched to
swap), but ok, that's just me. ;-)
So, please, give a short status report. Thanks. :)
