In the spirit of overdoing things, here's another release which
fixes a few more bugs (thanks to those who reported in with bugs and
patches!). Changelog:

0.6.3 (28 December 2005)
  - Fix logic bug when displaying silent or verbose animations (Johannes Berg).
  - Hide harmless fbsplash errors when kernel not patched with fbsplash.
  - Help slower machines catch up on kernel update messages.
  - Flush vt scrollback on redraw.
  - Allow fbsplash to choose a theme from the command-line.

The last item about choosing themes isn't easy to use yet as the
kernel isn't able to give arbitrary parameters to userui. However,
you could implement a wrapper script that passed the theme as an
argument (be sure to pass on the arguments given to the wrapper
script too).

One known issue exists on PPC under Debian and libc6 2.3.5 that
causes the fbsplash userui to crash in libfreetype (debian bug
#345000). Thanks to Johannes for helping debug that one!

Merry festive season and Gregorian New Year to all...

Bernard.
